Why yo-yo dieting is NOT the answer!
What is yo-yo dieting?
It's the cycle of losing weight, regaining weight, and then starting the cycle again.
While it can be tempting to try the latest fad diet or to drastically cut calories in order to see quick results, yo-yo dieting is not sustainable or healthy approach to weight loss.
Here are my thoughts on why yo-yo dieting is problematic and what I recommend instead:
#1 Yo-yo dieting can be harmful to your health
Frequent weight fluctuations can be hard on your body, and it has been linked to a range of negative health outcomes such as increased risk of heart disease, metabolic disorders, and even psychological problems like depression and anxiety.
#2 Yo-yo dieting doesn't lead to sustainable weight loss
While it may lead to short-term weight loss, it is not a sustainable - or effective - approach to long-term weight management. In fact, many people end up regaining the weight they lost, plus some, which ultimately leads to a cycle of frustration and disappointment.
#3 A more balanced approach to nutrition and exercise is the key
Instead of yo-yo dieting, I recommend a more balanced approach.
Sustainable lifestyle > Quick fix
This might include a focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods, regular strength training, cardio exercise, and finding healthy ways to manage stress.
In conclusion:
Yo-yo dieting is focused on the short-term, quick fix. However, it's not a sustainable or healthy approach to weight loss.
Instead, focus on a more balanced approach to nutrition and exercise, and remember that progress is more important than perfection!
By making small, consistent changes over time, you can achieve your goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle over the long run!

Attention: don't be afraid of supplements ladies!
The ladies need supplements too!
Why? Women need vitamins, minerals, and nutrients to fill in any gaps to boost overall wellbeing! Look good + feel good.
Here's my go-to stack (and why)
#1 Plant Protein
Ladies... don't be afraid of protein! This is an awesome plant-based protein that will help you hit your protein goals easily. Oh, sits well with your stomach.
#2 Sleep
My #1 favorite supplement here at Max Effort Muscle. Getting quality, restful sleep is crucial when it comes to fat loss and muscle gain. Get to sleep fast and stay there... all without the grogginess.
#3 Stim-Free Fat Burner
I love my coffee and energy drinks just like the rest of the planet. But I also love burning through fat! All the fat burner benefits - without the added caffeine!
