Why I should win? See the pics, and read on...

This is a lifestyle. Cory preaches it all the time.

I'm not special. I didn't do anything special. But this lifestyle is something everyone can follow for real, long-term results. That's what this one was about for me.

No offense, but these yo-yo champs don't make sense to me. And I'm friends with some of them.

To get results and make it to the top whatever number, then come back worse the next time? I get going through things or seasons in life, but again, if this is truly a lifestyle and you've changed your life like your "story" says each year, why did you backtrack?

I'm proving that next-level mentality.

I spent time in that mentorship, made 8th place last year, but didn't take it as, "How do I game the system and win the contest next year?" I didn't try to, and I didn't have to.

No tricks. Just, "How do I keep getting better?"

So that's what I did.

I kept going. Meal after meal. Workout after workout. Day after day. Get a little bit better.

Like Cory said, that 0.01% better. That's what I signed up for.

No backtracking. No tricks. No bloating myself, sticking my gut out, and purposely looking sad in before pictures.

If you just work the lifestyle that's provided here, why are you sad?!

And honestly, because of that, I worked hard every day, but there was no killing myself for this. It wasn't as hard this year because I've just kept getting better, not digging myself out of the hole I created.

Compound interest.

Really, if you just stick to this... which I believe is set up to make it easy for anyone to follow... anyone can do it and get these results. Just keep going.

I've spent the last year working to be better. 8th place wasn't good enough. I want to be the best. So I just kept following the game plan.

The only thing I changed?

I didn't like who I became during the cut for this contest and the bodybuilding show I did afterward last year. I grew angry and irritable toward the people I love.

I vowed that this is what I would change this year. Not how I manipulate the challenge to win.

How do I become a better man? How do I use this challenge to prove I'm better than last year in all aspects of life? I drew closer to God. I founded a Bibles & Barbells men's group that meets every Saturday morningโ€”Iron Sharpens Iron.

I found ways to keep getting better over the past year. And because it's a lifestyle, it didn't matter what life threw my wayโ€”I kept going. The first week of this challenge, I got sick.

Two weeks later, I was in Florida on a family vacation to Disney. On Day 1 of vacation, we got news that my papa had died. But again, this lifestyle is maintainable through it all.

I ate cold burger patties with greens and shakes while pushing strollers through Disney, came back home, and went right into family, funeral, and work mode.

"There's no time" wasn't an excuse that even crossed my mind. I'm a husband, father, and owner of two businesses, working basically every moment of every week. But it's all maintainable because of this lifestyle.

Again, it's for anyone, and anyone can get there eventually if they just keep going.

That's what this proves. That's what me winning would show. No yo-yo champs. This lifestyle is legit.

You don't, or shouldn't, fall off because it's a maintainable lifestyle. That's how champions are built.

After this contest, I can say I am better than last year in all aspects of life because I used last year's experience to keep getting better.

No going backward. I still keep pushing forward. A better man.

Healthier, stronger, feeling good and looking good, a better husband, better father, better follower of Jesus, better leader, and better entrepreneur.

And I'm going to do the same over the next year because now the bar has been set even higher.

Give me that Benz, and let's produce more lifetime winners!

Let's show people the right way to do things. Continuous improvement. Keep showing up. No going backward.

Someone who truly lives what Cory has preached, sees the benefits, and will champion it well to our communityโ€”the Max Effort Mafia.

Enough sad-face yo-yo champs. I'm PROOF this is a lifestyle, it works, and we just keep leveling up inside this community in all aspects of life. I've got abz. I've changed my life. I've continued to put in the work.

Give me that Benz, and let's change some more lives together!
