40 pounds down and finally back on track
For Trevor, this year’s #IWANTABZ contest meant more than just losing weight.
It meant finally finishing what he started.
Over the last few years, Trevor has faced major life events that repeatedly interrupted his momentum. Last year, just a few weeks into the contest, he had to undergo emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder.
Then in September, Trevor and his wife welcomed their third baby into the world.
Life kept happening. And this year, Trevor made a decision.
“I’m doing this to get myself back on track and to show my kids that we can do anything we put our minds to.”
Trevor had entered #IWANTABZ before, but he admits this was the first year he truly committed 100%.
“I didn’t sneak any of my kids’ chips for lunch. I didn’t skip any lunges because I was tired or sore. And I didn’t forget to take my supplements.”
For 10 weeks, Trevor fully locked in.
No excuses, shortcuts, or backing off. And the results spoke for themselves.
“I fully locked in for the ten weeks and the results show. I look and feel the best I ever have.”
This transformation wasn’t just physical. It became something bigger for Trevor and his family. His kids started asking him questions about the gym. They wanted to join him. They saw their dad showing up every single day and setting an example through discipline and consistency.
“My kids love asking me about the gym and want to join me.”
After years of setbacks, interruptions, surgeries, sleepless nights with newborns, and trying to regain momentum, Trevor finally feels like he’s moving forward again.
And he doesn’t want it to stop here.
“Every time I’ve done this contest, there always seems to be some major life event that affects me and I lose my progress.”
But not this year. This year, Trevor stayed committed through all of it and lost an incredible 40 pounds along the way.
