Is Creatine Safe? (Let’s Set The Record Straight)
Creatine is the most studied ingredient in the history of supplements. I’ve been taking it for almost 30 years—with zero issues and nothing but upside. What’s crazy is how many new studies are coming out that show it’s not just about power and explosiveness anymore.
We’re seeing research on how it helps females, supports brain function, and improves overall cognition. I believe creatine got a bad rap a long time ago from people who didn’t take it responsibly.
Here’s what I’ve personally experienced: when we take creatine, we feel better, hurt less, and see more power output. Period.
My recommendation? Take 5 grams per day. Pretty much everyone 14 years and up should be taking creatine—especially if they’re athletes. The key is staying hydrated and not cutting weight in an unhealthy way.
Creatine is a staple for me. It’s part of my routine, and it will be for the rest of my life.
