46) Next Level Reach
Have you ever felt so locked in that it feels like you’re playing on a different field? Like you’re operating at a level most people aren’t willing to touch?
Have you ever had a goal that’s just slightly out of reach?
Maybe it’s carving out an ab line before you hit the beach. Maybe it’s dropping enough weight to fit into those pants you bought. Maybe it’s looking sharp in that dress shirt at work.
Whatever it is, what’s the goal that has you on edge, in a good way? The one that pushes you outside your comfort zone and into new territory?
That’s the feeling.
I’ve done a ton of bodybuilding shows. I’ve landed magazine covers. I’ve competed in powerlifting meets. At the time, every one of those numbers and looks felt slightly out of reach. That’s what made it powerful.
I want it for myself. I want to prove it’s possible. I want my kids to see it. Dad can still do some shit. And when I hit it? The confidence explodes. Bottle that up. Because once you reach it, you operate differently.
Just like you can get those abs. Just like you can lose that weight. Just like you can compete in that show or earn that pro card. Whatever your goal is, understand this: it comes down to consistency and pressure.
If you don’t have a next-level goal that feels slightly out of reach right now, after you read this... write one down.
