How I Train on Vacation Without a Fancy Gym | MAX EFFORT MUSCLE SUPERSETS
Train Anywhere: My Vacation Gym Setup đȘđ»
The squat rack, zip ties, and a folding bench that make it all possible.
Most people take beach chairs and coolers on vacationâI take a squat rack.
Whether Iâm headed to the Carolinas or just getting away for a few days, I refuse to skip my training. Thatâs why Iâve built a mobile gym setup that travels with me wherever I go. It fits in the truck, costs next to nothing, and hits every major muscle group.
Hereâs what I bring:
$180 squat rack from Amazon (yep, cheap and sturdy enough)
Zip ties + bungee cords to hold it all together and strap it to the truck bed
Folding flat bench â packs up easily & overall a solid bench
Goldâs Gym 6-foot barbell â perfect size for on-the-go lifts
2 adjustable dumbbells â take up minimal space but cover a ton of exercises
Ankle weights â easy to travel with and great for accessory movements
Bands + jump rope â for warmups, conditioning, and travel workouts
Pulley system attachment â attaches to the rack for lat pulldowns, rows, and more
Itâs not fancy. But it gets the job done.
And the best part? You can build this same setup and never miss a workout againâno matter where you go.
