"Focus on progress, not perfection."
I knew a long time ago that I wasn’t great at anything, and honestly, that’s what helped me. I was always in between, never the best, so I didn’t expect perfection. Instead, I aspired to try harder every day and get better.
One thing I picked up on early was consistency. I noticed that most people couldn’t stick with things, and I decided that would be my strength. I also realized that when I stuck with something, I eventually got better—it just took time.
The key to progress is focusing on getting better, not being perfect.
