Wide Stance Squats: 15 reps
Standing Side Leg Lifts: 30 reps
3 SET SUPERSET
Close Stance Deep Squats: 15 reps
Standing Single Leg Glute Raises: 30 reps
3 SET SUPERSET
ISO Squats: 30 seconds
ISO Fire Hydrant Holds: 60 seconds each
3 SET SUPERSET
Walking Lunges: 1 minute
Fire Hydrant’s Leg Kicks: 1 minute
2 SETS
With 3-lb. ankle weights
Regular Crunches: 1 minute
Legs-up Crunches: 1 minute
Bicycle Crunches: 1 minute
🤔 THOUGHT
This is what it looks like when you fall in love with something but ya got nothing.
My first powerlifting meet as a senior in high school, posing in my trailer with my plaque dreaming of lifting weights for my job one day.
The year: 1997. I never met a personal trainer before. I didn’t know one person that had the job I wanted, and the internet and social media didn't exist.
I couldn’t see myself going to a four-year college, and I didn’t have the grades or ACT scores to get in.
I felt a bit hopeless, but worked really hard underground in the coal mines to save money to give myself a chance.
I fell in love with lifting weights, getting better every day, and helping others.
