Ohio State Visit, Max Effort Contract, and Rudis Shoot! // Bo's Inner Circle

Hello Inner Circle!

What's up Everyone! I am back with a weekly recruiting update!

Now for my recruiting:

I had an amazing week of training and this past weekend we were in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio State. It was an amazing weekend. We got in super late Thursday night at 2am. We drove out after workouts. The visit started bright and early. Coach Tom Ryan was there to pick us up. My brothers and I went to RTC workouts and got a good workout right out of the gate. After the workout we sat down with their whole resource team, which was great to see how all their coaches/trainers/strength/academics/mindset work together. This meeting was very good and I learned a lot about the program and their overall plan to develop their athletes. We then toured the campus on golf carts which was really fun. In the evening we got to spend time at dinner with the coaching staff and wrestlers. We all watched the Stanford vs Iowa State match. It was great seeing wrestlers I scrap with, already crushing people in college. Jesse Mendez was my host and we had an awesome weekend. Saturday we had another workout and then headed over to the game. This makes back to back weekends, we got to watch Ohio State football. I got a chance to get on the field. After the game we had a cookout and Nic Feldman was the cook. He was actually a really good cook. We played mafia and it was great to see all the team hanging out together. Then on Sunday, we all went to church together. I may have been to the most amazing church in my life. We went to Rock City church and before the service we got to talk and hang with the pastor. He was an amazing person and loved wrestling. The service was really good. We finished up with lunch afterwards with the coaches, Jesse and Vinny Kilkreary. Overall the visit was great and again, like the other visits, all the boxes were checked!~ I really liked all their coaches and they have a bunch of great resources in place for their wrestlers. I think if they get Coach Coleman Scott there full time as their RTC coach, that will help them even more. Coach Steiber, Coach Jaggers, Coach Jordan, Coach Moore, Coach Ryan and then adding Coach Scott would be a very solid staff.

After the visit ended, one of my partners and NIL's is Max Effort and Coach Dustin Myers. They are based out of Columbus. We went there and spent the afternoon at the Old School gym and got in a great workout. We also got to Watch the end of the Steeler game. I had a chance to sign my contract with Max Effort for my new "Pace" Supplement! I got my first check for the "Pace" that sold in the first month. It was definitely an amazing moment. I know the supplement has truly helped all my teammates and I. I am so glad we can now help other wrestlers with their stamina, focus and pace. Then later that night, I ran my virtual Mindset seminar. There were wrestlers, coaches and parents on the google meets from all over the country and even Hawaii.

On Monday, we finished the weekend at the Rudis Headquarters. Being a Rudis athlete is amazing and I am so grateful. I started my day at 6:00am filming a sunrise run and workout. There were 8 camera people as part of the production team. This was so much fun. I am so pumped to see it once it's finished. After we finished we headed to the Rudis HQ. We had to update all the photos and stuff for the website. When we got there, we were welcomed by their entire staff, which is much larger than people think. Every time we get to go to Rudis, the company & staff keeps getting bigger and bigger. Mr Jesse Leng, the CEO, did an amazing introduction for us and explained some of the stuff I was able to accomplish this year. His kind words were truly amazing. I am so honored to be the youngest member of Team Rudis. We hung out there all afternoon and finally headed home.

This weekend I will be taking my official visit to Virginia Tech and hanging out in Blacksburg. I am pumped to check out a dual and spend some time learning about their program. My buddy, Jimmy Mullins, will be my host and it should be an amazing time. I hope to get the chance to train and scrap with Bryce Andonian and Caleb Henson.

Some people say they didn't or don't like the recruiting process, I can honestly say I love it. I enjoy hanging with my family and getting to learn about all the programs, their culture and get to talk to great coaches & learn from amazing wrestlers. My brothers have been right alongside experiencing this with me and we have all been able to get in amazing training as well.

I will be continuing to do my graphic and eliminating schools each week. I stopped for a while and got hundreds of messages asking if I would continue it. People enjoyed learning about each visit and the little things. Then like anything in life, you get the few people who don't like it because its different and not normal. I always like to do things a little differently and most importantly have fun with things. I worked my whole life in wrestling and am going to enjoy this process. I know, when I was young, I would have loved to follow Spencer Lee or Zain Retherford recruiting process. So unfortunately this week I had to take Nebraska off the list. They are a great program with a top notch coaching staff. Coach Trevel and Coach Manning are both amazing people.
