#112 Check Your Efficiency

Everything we do within CoryG Fitness and Max Effort Muscle is based around systems and efficiency.  Systems & efficiency are mandatory in our fast-paced, everchanging work environment.  Without these components, things would quickly spiral out of control.

Figuring It Out

Dialing in a system that’s efficient is going to save you many headaches down the road.  Being able to identify the holes in a process and finding the best and most efficient solution is the key.

A Dead Giveaway

We took the CoryG system and applied it directly to the newer version of Max Effort Muscle.  It may be time to reevaluate your processes and systems if something is demanding too much of your time.  Not only are you losing time, you’re also losing the desire to complete the task at hand.

Question your processes.  Is there a better, more efficient way?  Can you save yourself the time and the headache?  Take inventory of your day to see if you have anything that’s sucking up too much time.

Better Equipped

Efficient systems allow you to handle more with less stress.  With the help of my team around me, I’ve been able to improve and refine my processes to be both more effective and efficient.  And guess what?  Once you have it dialed in, you start to realize just how much time you save.  If you want to be able to handle a larger workload, then you truly need to learn how to work smarter, not harder.  It’s just the reality.

Start with the small things.  The low-hanging fruit.  Organize your computer or file structure so you can find what you need faster, for example.  Just think about how much longer it will take to find this or that if everything is a clusterfuck.

Next Level Systems

Developing a sophisticated system allows you to hand off the keys to the next person.  The next person shouldn’t have an issue finding what they need or understanding the process you’ve outlined.  Less questions, more efficiency, and way more effective.

What’s Taking the Most Time?

Look at your life, your family, your business, and your relationships.  What are those things taking up the most time?  You may be surprised.  Become more efficient and free up the clogged space in your head.
