“When I set out my goals for 2023, I wanted to lose 55 lbs over the course of the entire year. In my head I set a realistic goal to lose 18 lbs during the I want Abs competition. I thought to myself if can put this date on the calendar and lose 18 lbs over 12 weeks while still eating good food and busting my ass that would be an incredible start to my goal for the year.

Never in my wildest imagination did I think I’d lose this much weight. Like G said, this shit isn’t easy but it is simple. And those words could not be any truer. Nothing about this transformation has been easy. Not just the training and diet, but I also faced adversity throughout the completion. Two stomach bugs, Covid and the birth of my second child (not adversity but he came several weeks early which threw a wrench into my plans)."
