βI did what I said I was going to do. I finished and finished strong. I wanted abs and I got them. I lost 23 pounds, and dropped to about 11% body fat. I hit PRs on deadlift (505) and bench (285). More than any athletic feat I achieved, I changed. I fully embraced a growth mindset and one hellbent on persisting through adversity. Attaining sculpted abs is no easy feat and I am glad to have them, but above all Iβm glad to have achieved what they represent - commitment; discipline; patience; an iron will. They are simply a brick memorial wall of an old self, laid slowly by the thousands of small decisions that all require a vow to delayed gratification.β
