LEAN PROTEIN CHOICES FOR WOMEN
I get asked all the time what my favorite lean protein options are, so I figured I’d list a few!
➡️ Here's the full article
Chicken breast: This is a very popular lean protein option because it is low in fat and calories and high in protein. It is a good source of niacin, vitamin B6, and selenium, and can be cooked in a variety of ways.
Turkey breast: Like chicken breast, turkey breast is low in fat and calories and high in protein. It is also a good source of niacin, vitamin B6, and selenium, and can be cooked in a variety of ways.
Lean beef: There are several cuts of lean beef that are low in fat and calories, including sirloin, round, and tenderloin. Lean beef is a good source of protein, iron, and zinc, and can be grilled, roasted, or stir-fried.
Fish: Many types of fish are lean protein sources, including cod, tilapia, and salmon. Fish is high in protein and omega-3 fatty acids, and can be baked, grilled, or pan-fried.
Tofu: Tofu is made from soybeans and is a good source of protein, iron, and calcium. It is low in fat and calories, and can be grilled, stir-fried, or used in soups and stews.
