Golf, Family & The Happy Collection

My grandfather taught me a lot about being a man... but 2 things we did together a lot — which was pretty uncharacteristic in the late 90s — were lift weights and golf.
I always like to give some context of where my love for things comes from. Both lifting and golf came from spending time with someone I looked up to: Frank Boone.
If you watched the Masters — or even if you didn’t — the final round looked like a round any of us could have with our buddies at the local course. A couple great shots. A few bad ones. Some close calls. And just enough to bring you back for the next round.
Rory winning? That hit different for me. The pressure, the decade of near-misses, and finally breaking through. Plus... Rory lifts weights and drinks a pint or two — so naturally, I’m a fan.
Golf's unlike anything else in sports. I’ve been to The Masters twice — both unreal experiences. The first time was in 2015 when I worked with Tiger Woods — seeing him on the first tee with my old company’s logo on his bag… man, I about lost it. That's a moment that makes you believe anything’s possible in life.
The second time was with my wife — just being present and taking it all in.
But golf’s more than that. It’s something you can do forever.
I played my last meaningful round with my grandfather when he was 89. He birdied the first hole at Carroll Meadows — a course he played often. That day, I knew those moments were numbered. I took a deep breath, soaked it in, and stayed fully present.
That’s what golf means to me.
Inspired by golf. Rooted in family. Made to be worn on or off the course.
