The Supplements That Helped Me Crush a 58.2 400m Dash at 46 Years Old

By Coach Dustin Myers
My Track Stack Breakdown š
Every year, I set a personal goal for myself to run a sub-60 400m dash on my birthday in June. And this year, I ran a 58.2, extending my streak to 12 years. As always, my sprinting training is built around performance, but also health and recoveryāand thatās where my Track Stack comes in.
Hereās what I used throughout my spring training to stay healthy, maximize my performance, and peak at the right time:
Stim Free Fat Burner š„
Sprinting performance is all about body composition. To crack sub-60, I aim to stay between 165-168 lbs, which is also when my abs start showing. The Stim Free Fat Burner was key because it helped me metabolize fat during my fasted training sessions, and I didnāt need extra caffeineācoffee already covers that.
Creatine ā”
Sprinting requires maximum effort in short bursts, and creatine is essential for explosive movements like sprints. It helps with muscle contractions and power during my runs, which is critical for getting the most out of each training session.
NDR Hydrate š§
Replenishing electrolytes post-sprint is my top priority. NDR Hydrate helps me avoid ācardio brain fogā and aids in muscle recovery. Since I train fasted, Iāll also take half a packet with creatine before my track sessions to keep me fueled.

How I Took My Stack:
⢠Before the Track: 5g Creatine, ½ packet of NDR in 4oz water, 3 Stim Free Fat Burners
⢠After the Track: 1 whole packet of NDR in 24oz water, 3 more Fat Burners with my first meal.
This stack allowed me to train consistently, stay on track with my nutrition, and see steady improvements. The key to hitting my sprinting goals wasnāt just putting in the miles on the track; it was making sure my body had what it needed to recover, burn fat, and power through every training session.
