I'm here to say I have changed it and I'm still changing it. As I write this, I’m sitting on a 1.25-acre raw island with no utilities. I taught myself how to drive a boat just last week. I’m looking out at the water and I can tell you that the 20+ years of busting my ass was all worth it. And it's still worth it because I'm still changing the trajectory of my family every day because of that decision I made when I was younger.
 
So, is it easy? Hell no.
