When I think about daydreaming, I think about Abraham Lincoln. There’s a famous Lincoln quote that speaks directly to not being able to see or touch what you believe. That the ultimate belief is to believe in what is unseen.
When I’m not daydreaming or wondering what could be possible, my creativity starts to slack. It’s that simple. For example, we just moved into a new spot. The gym and office are now under the same roof. Not only under the same roof, but it’s located in the town I live in.
The Lifestyle & Daydream
The lifestyle change with everything being so close together was a big ass daydream that I’ve had for a long time. When the opportunity presented itself, it was impossible to pass up. The timing may have been less than desirable, but who’s to say that timing’s ever desirable?
Make It Happen
Are you daydreaming at all? Are you exploring new, or potential possibilities? Are you thinking about what could happen? Are you pushing to be better with your career and your relationships?
Start from ground zero when you can’t feel or touch it. What do you see in your mind? Start to work backwards and figure out how to make it happen. For me, I knew I wanted to have an office here in Granville. I knew I wanted to have my gym in Granville. I've been here for a while now. My youngest is 10 years old now. I know that I’m going to be here for at least another decade.
I started looking at land in the area. At the time, I wasn’t looking for a building. I was looking more specifically at land, with the intention of building. And then looking for that land, I got introduced to someone that had this building, and here we are.
