Choose to NOT Have an Opinion
When people ask me about disgruntled people I used to work with, people that I’ve cut out of my life, or people that hate on me, I almost never have an opinion.
I’m not going to waste any time on someone that I know doesn’t care about me or for me.
Think about this for a second…
Why would I care about the opinion of someone else who I know for a fact doesn’t care about me? They don’t care about me, my wellbeing, my family, or my business.
It’s a total waste of time.
Give it No Oxygen
I’ve been sometimes known to be someone who makes hard cuts. Once I cut it, I cut it.
It’s just how I process it. I put any emotional attachment to the side and make the best move forward for myself. It’s that clear-cut. If someone has zero care for me, then I’m not going to put anything towards it. No oxygen.
Instead, I’m going to learn from it, push forward, and get better by developing my body, business, mind, and relationships.
Use This Process
Processing things this way will make your life less stressful… especially in the long term.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a coworker, family member, or someone chirping you on Facebook. The best thing you can do is make the cut. By completely ignoring the hate thrown your way, it never has a chance to grow.
No reaction or response = true power.
It’s not always easy, but it’s more than worth it to develop this skill. By cultivating this awareness, you are better equipped to cut the drama and other BS from your life.a
